A green urban educational outreach project in one of our world's largest cities. We are building free study centers in impoverished urban areas...
Our children can solve the problems we have created... The argument here is that educational opportunity can be purchased at a small cost and can lead to radical change in the life of a child, a family, a community, a city and our world.
Indonesia is the 4th largest country in our world. It is a democracy and a place where social mobility though education can happen. Jakarta, on the Island of Java, is one of the five largest urban centers on Earth. This city of 30 million is a place where Christian and Muslims coexist in peace within communities. It is also a place where pollution and poverty stand in the way of the dreams of too many children.
We invite you to join us. We are a small group of American and Indonesian friends who are on a mission to do something positive. The overall goal of our project is to give underprivileged children in urban Jakarta a chance at a true college preparatory experience.
